Bruyère Health complies with directives under the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act, 2010. The requirements set out in this Act raise the level of accountability and transparency for designated broader public sector (BPS) organizations, contributing to greater alignment with the high standards expected in ministries and agencies of the Government of Ontario.

Broader Public Sector Accountability Act, 2010

Expense Claims (section 4.2)

In compliance with the Expenses Directive (section 4.2) under the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act, 2010, Bruyère is required to publicize its rules for travel, meal and hospitality expenses which apply to all individuals in the organization. 

 

In addition, to comply with Ministry directives on reporting requirements under section 8(2) of the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act, 2010, every hospital must post information about expense claims for travel, meal and hospitality made by the following individuals:

 

  • Members of the board of directors;
  • President & CEO;
  • Members of the hospital’s senior management team, including the chief nursing officer and the chief of staff.

Only individuals who have made claims are listed in the documents below.
