How to Submit an Appeal
Any decision we make related to Freedom of Information requests under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), including the decision to charge a fee, may be appealed to the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.
Your appeal letter should include:
- Your name, address and telephone number;
- A copy of your original request;
- A copy of Bruyère’s response;
- Reasons for your appeal.
The appeal must be accompanied by a fee of $10 if you are appealing a request for access to personal information or $25 if you are appealing a request for access to general records.
