Mission
Bruyère is Eastern Ontario’s leading health organization specializing in aging, rehabilitation, and care for those living with multiple complex medical conditions. We are committed to bringing together compassionate, person-centred care with world-class research to maximize quality of life for those we care for and their loved ones.

Strategic directions
Quality in all we do
We will optimize our models of care and capacity across our community, hospital and long-term care (LTC) services, working with the people we serve and those who care for them, so that quality, timely care is provided by well-trained teams with close alignment across research and clinical roles.
Cultivating the conditions for success
We will develop the needed infrastructure and models of support across all of our non-patient facing teams to meet evolving organizational and system needs, reflecting careful stewardship of our assets and role in the community.
Harnessing the future
We will plan and execute on visionary development projects for our new hospital site, re-envisioned LTC services and expansion of housing and supportive housing, co-designed with those we serve, to meet the needs of our community enabling our specialized role as a dynamic, diverse Academic Health Sciences Centre.
Inspiring our people, strengthening our culture
We will be a sought-after employer by focusing on our team’s well-being and psychological safety, developing our leaders, and promoting and strengthening our role as an Academic Health Sciences Centre.
Fostering bold leadership
