Mélanie Dubé is the
Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President of Corporate Services, Planning and
Redevelopment at Bruyère Health.

of clinical experience and her extensive financial expertise sets her apart in
the health care sector.
Before joining Bruyère
Health in 2023, Mélanie dedicated 24 years to Hôpital Montfort, beginning her
career as a respiratory therapist. She quickly ascended from clinical roles to
corporate leadership, serving as clinical manager, director of finance and
procurement, and ultimately vice-president of finance by 2017. Her ambition led
her to obtain an MBA from the Université de Montréal and earn certified public
accountant (CPA) and certified management accountant (CMA) designations.
In 2021, she was named
CPA of the Year by CPA Québec – Outaouais Region for her leadership during the
COVID-19 pandemic as the incident commander. Mélanie’s commitment as a health
care sector leader was further demonstrated when she spent a decade sharing her
knowledge as a teacher at Collège La Cité.
Her bilingual proficiency
allows her to effectively communicate and foster partnerships, ensuring
collaboration and mutual success.
With extensive
experience in both clinical and financial aspects of health care, Mélanie navigates
the complexities of the system with a balanced approach, fostering sustainable
