Discharge

Discharge time is 10 a.m. Please arrange to leave the hospital by 10 a.m. the day of your discharge so your room can be prepared and available for new admissions.

We know that the discharge planning process can be a stressful time. In order to support patients returning to the community, we have developed the Hospital to Home Patient Experience Program. A member of our Quality, Patient Safety and Risk Management department will contact you by telephone, 24-72 hours after your return home to obtain feedback on the quality of our discharge planning process. The feedback you provide will be anonymous and the information is used to identify opportunities for improvement. During our call, we will also be available to answer any questions or concerns you might have related to your discharge, or guide you to the right individual or resources if needed.
