How to Make a Gift of Publicly Traded Securities:

1. Contact Us: Reach out to the Bruyère Health Foundation to inform us of your intent to make a donation of publicly traded securities. Our team will guide you through the process and provide all necessary instructions. Contact: Josée Quenneville at jquenneville@bruyere.org or 613-562-3619.
2. Transfer the Securities: You will need to work with your broker or financial institution to transfer the securities to Bruyère Health Foundation’s account.
3. Receive Your Tax Receipt: Once the transfer is complete, we will issue a tax receipt for the full market value of the securities on the date of the transfer. This receipt will allow you to claim the full value of your gift on your tax return.
