About:
Dr. Nicholas Tompkins graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland and completed his Family Medicine and Palliative Medicine residency training at McMaster University. He joined the Bruyère Health’s department of Palliative Care in 2023, and the Bruyère Health Research Institute in 2025.
Dr. Tompkins hopes that his research can help to improve quality of care at end of life for people in the community and long-term care.
Research Interests:
Palliative care, long-term care, community care, quality of life.
