About:
Derek Manis, PhD is an epidemiologist and interdisciplinary health services and policy researcher who has expertise in big data analytics, observational and quasi-experimental study designs, causal inference, and mixed methods. He primarily uses health system administrative data that is linked at the level of the individual to examine health care quality, models of care, and health outcomes among older adults who reside in residential care facilities.
