For your safety
To help prevent security incidents, we have installed over 100 security cameras throughout our facilities.
At Bruyère Health Élisabeth-Bruyère Long-Term Care, security guards are also on duty from 7 a.m. to midnight.
At Bruyère Health Saint-Louis Long-Term Care, security guards are on site from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., on weekends and holidays.
Doors are locked at all times and a key-code is required to open all doors. However, these security measures are not foolproof and incidents may still occur. Your cooperation is required in applying the following security measures:
- Do not keep large sums of money in your room – our Accounts Receivable and Trusts office offers a trust fund service free of charge (refer to Financial Matters section).
- Never leave valuables unattended, especially in common areas.
- If you see anyone acting suspiciously inside the building, notify staff immediately.
- Never let a stranger follow you into the facility after the doors have been locked. Ask them to ring the bell at the entrance
