Therapeutic Support Services Team Wins CCHL Award!

24/5/2017

In June, the Canadian College of Health Leaders will be hosting a special event to recognize outstanding leaders for their achievements and contributions, as part of the College's National Awards Program.

Bruyère’s Therapeutic Support Services will be receiving the Celebrating the Human Spirit Award for the Cycling Without Age program they launched at Saint-Louis Residence and the Bruyère Village last summer!

Celebrating the Human Spirit Award recognizes and honours the meaningful contributions of individuals or teams, who provide health services, for acts of caring and compassion that go above and beyond the call of duty, which inspire others and have a profound and lasting impact.

Cycling Without Age is an innovative program designed to enhance the lives of seniors by providing them with a great opportunity to remain connected to and active in the community.

During its first season, the program provided 193 people with the outdoor cycling experience and over 1,500 km was travelled.

Our most sincere congratulations to the Therapeutic Support Services team!
