Function Summary
Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, this role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.
Duties include:
- Dusting, polishing, and washing as per routines furniture, telephone sets, counters, etc.
- Mops, vacuums, or mops floors as needed and cleans up minor messes.
- Clean light fixtures except those directly on the ceiling, registers, interior glass, window spaces, partitions, and doors.
- Clean sinks, toilets, and other bathroom fixtures.
- Refill paper and soap dispensers, empty ashtrays and wastebaskets and change bags as needed.
- Checking the condition of curtains and bed dividers as per routine.
- Take necessary steps to promote the health and safety of employees, residents, and visitors.

Required Qualifications
- Completed 10th grade high school.
- Fluent in French and English (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the field is an asset
Key Competencies
- Ability to do heavy work: moving furniture etc.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent standing, bending, and pushing/transferring of equipment.
