Bruyère Health Ranked Sixth for Research Spending Growth Among Canadian Hospitals of its Tier

Today, Bruyère Health was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 40 Research Hospitals by Research InfoSource, moving up four places from the previous year.

Bruyère Health also ranked third for researcher intensity, sixth for research spending, and first for research spending growth among hospitals in its tier. Bruyère Health Research Institute conducts world-class research to maximize quality of life and shape the future health care with a focus on memory, aging in place, and long-term care; palliative care; rehabilitation and recovery; and social accountability.

The rankings showcase the health research strengths of the national capital region, with multiple hospitals and academic institutions making the list.
