Bruyère bring arts and culture to it sites to celebrate Ontario Culture Days 2022

Bruyère will be participating in Ontario Culture Days from September 23rd to October 16th. Ontario Culture Days is a provincial initiative to celebrate arts and culture, through a series of online and in-person events for our patients and their loved ones.
Our events are curated by Radical Connections and are in collaboration with the Carol Wiebe Artist-in-Residence program at Bruyère.

Friday, September 23 - Concert in the Atrium at Bruyère Health Saint-Vincent Hospital

Two new art exhibits are opening in the Saint-Vincent Elevator Galleries: ShapeVision’s "Hidden Shapes of Nature" and Oscar Parra's "People who Love People". These exhibits are also accessible virtually here.
Thursday, October 6 - Virtual Talk: Curation as Collaboration
What happens when hospital patients and staff are involved in artistic decisions in their own environment? An online talk looking at the outcome of patient, resident and involvement and arts and culture in health care settings, using Bruyère’s current co-curation project as an example.
