Congratulations to the pedal-pushing champions from Bruyère Health Senior Living who came in third this year out of 256 teams from around the globe at the annual Road Worlds for Seniors cycling competition!
Over 6,900 participants competed in this year’s Road Worlds championships, which allow older adults from around the world to race their bikes and explore the world virtually using the Motiview video library. The event encourages physical activity and allows participants to connect with older athletes from 10 countries. Those who travel the greatest number of kilometres win!
Our top pedalers were Jacques Prud’homme, who placed second among competing men with a total of 4,140.1 km, while Claudette Beauchamp ranked third amongst the women by travelling 4,194.5 km.
